But i’m back hopefully tonight or tomorrow to catch up on everything. Hope everyone has been well.
Who wouldn’t like some FREE money $$$$$$$ for their treatments??! I know i sure do!
I am definitely going to be filling out this paperwork before school on monday and calling the doctor to get more information and the required info i need to send in. I’m really hoping that this could be a chance for us as well. I’m pretty pumped that I finally found the information since when I asked them at the doctor’s, the lady said she’d put my name on the list. Who the hell knows what that really means so I’m taking it upon myself to do this. If anyone wants the info, i’m about to post it. Go to the link and see if your doctor is on the list! :) Good luck!
Improve your diet
The sooner you start eating well, the more likely you are to get pregnant. For both men and women, food and fertility are linked. You need to stick to a balanced diet to boost your chances of conceiving and of having a healthy baby.
Eat several servings of fruit, vegetables, grains such as whole wheat bread, and calcium-rich foods such as yogurt, cheese, and milk every day. Certain vitamins and nutrients — such as vitamins C and E, zinc, and folic acid — are important for making healthy sperm. Not getting enough nutrients can affect your periods, making it difficult to predict when you ovulate. And you may not ovulate at all if you’ve lost a drastic amount of weight or are obese.
What to avoid
If your eating habits leave something to be desired — and many people’s do — you’ll have to make some adjustments. Some solid advice: Cut out or only occasionally drink alcohol. (For non-alcoholic alternatives, see our list of the best virgin drinks). Stop using recreational drugs and, if you smoke, quit. All of these substances and habits can harm a developing fetus.
-trying to quit smoking right now.. now really hard, but hard enough knowing i don’t really have a reason to stop.. maybe if i keep researching healthy diets, it’ll be easier to quit.
You may also want to cut back on caffeine. The research on whether caffeine can affect fertility is mixed. Experts generally agree that low to moderate caffeine consumption, less than 300 mg a day or about the equivalent of three cups of coffee, won’t affect your fertility, but your doctor may recommend that you cut caffeine out entirely to play it safe. Learn more about caffeine and fertility.
-I don’t really drink alot of caffeine as it is. I did want to get a coffee from Starbuck’s today, but I really don’t care for their coffee. Soda is occasional, maybe once or twice a week… What the hell am i talking, i have a soda right now lol.
Although fish is generally very healthy, certain types are high in mercury, which can be dangerous to your unborn baby. Because mercury can accumulate in your body and linger there for more than a year, it’s best to avoid high-mercury fish such as shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish while you’re trying to conceive. Instead, eat lower-mercury fish such as salmon and canned light tuna once or twice a week. Read more on eating fish while trying to conceive.
-I guess it’s a good thing i don’t eat fish :)
Processed meats should be consumed in small amounts, and smoked or raw meats should be avoided entirely during pregnancy. Even hot dogs or deli meats should be heated until they are steaming before you eat them if you are pregnant.
-And definitely don’t eat processed meats. Maybe a hotdog if I went camping… That sounds so good right now..

omg i used to love these markers! I wonder if i can get them for my kids..
I’m considering becoming an egg donor. Is there anyone who’d be willing to talk to me about their experience with the donation process &c. so I can make the right choice?
same here.. I’m considering it to cut the cost on future IVFs if needed
Just bought this today from Shopper’s Drug Mart, I’m sooo excited to use it lol. It came with 6 months of charts, once i read all the instructions and find out more about charting.
Any tips ladies???
Go to www.fertilityfriend.com . They have a whole charting course that will give you all the info you will ever need :) My advice is to keep the therm right by your bed, set your alarm for the same time everyday and try to wake up everyday at the same time, get the therm stick it in your mouth and don’t move! Also, make sure you take it before going to the bathroom as well. Lastly, make sure you are temping after you have had 3 hours of sleep. Good luck!

No one wants to hear your story of infertility when you have sat there and shoved your pregnancy down the throat of every infertile person on here.
The end

In the absence of children, my wife has resorted to dressing up the dog.
This is what happens when IVF doesn’t work. Please, God, stop the madness. A Dachsund (or any dog for that matter) should not wear clothing. For damn sure they shouldn’t wear a fleece lined jacket with a crest on it.
LMAO — I can’t say much! I’m guilty as charged as well :)
In a collective slap to the face of couples around the globe dealing with infertility, it seems the Jersey Shore’s “Snooki” is pregnant.
In the words of my wife, this might create the biggest “why-her-and-not-me” reaction in history.
In other news, I have immediately begun preparing for the impending apocalypse.
The fact of her being pregnant really didn’t effect me as badly as it would’ve 6 years ago if you would’ve told me her disgraceful self was bringing a life into this world. At first I was with the whole Jersey Shore thing, but after the 1st season, it got old. She is such a bad influence and example for young girls around the globe. Starving herself, public intoxication, a woman who stands up for drinking, partying, sexing Guidos, and fist pumping, really bringing a child in this world?! Yep. I guess I’m ok with it now because I feel that she was given a baby BECAUSE of the mistakes she is making in her life. I feel that people who become parents unexpectedly are given their children as portals to a second chance at life. Call me crazy if you want, but I can count past my fingers and my toes of people who had major issues in their life, gotten pregnant, and did a complete 360. I really hope that’s what is going to happen in her situation as well..
I need to quit slacking!
Here they are:
8. A gadget I couldn’t live without is: My smartphone, of course! It keeps track of everything in my life. My alarm, grocery list, ovulation/period tracker, etc etc i could go on forever.
9. The hardest part about nights is: Umm… there’s…
Lol my Day 8 was about the same answer :)
